YES, I CAN

The World’s population is over 7 Billion people,
and everyone is unique in something.
Most people are going to doubt your credibility.
They are going to say “We’ve never seen him/her doing that before”

“He/she can never do it so perfect”

It is good you hear such words in all encounters.
If no one would believe you, you have to believe in yourself.
If everyone gives up on you, you have to be the last man-standing for yourself.

There are times that, hatred rather, keeps you moving.

A boy was mocked at for not having the skills to play basketball;
They called him names. All the time, he cried.
One day, he went to a basketball court, stood silently and picked up the ball.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
“I can do this”, he said  nodding, “Nothing can stop me”
He opened his eyes and took a shot that went through the net.
The boy tried more shots, even though, he missed the net sometimes.
He became a good basketball player in the whole of that vicinity.

So, if he had  not believed in himself and tried,
he wouldn’t have become the best basketball player in his vicinity.
That boy’s success sprung out of nothing, but hatred others had towards him.
If his peers had known that mocking him would make him successful,
they wouldn’t have mocked him.

When the going gets tough, believe that you can.
When your feet sinks in the sand, Say that you can.
There will be a shutting of your dreams,
the day that you give up on yourself.

Every success never came easy.
It was earned by striving through the tunnel of hardships.

Bill Gates became successful in programming Windows,
because he believed that he can.
Mohammed Ali became the greatest boxer in history,
because he believed he can.

Africans have no faith in themselves and that is why Africa does not have many successful persons. There is a perception in the African minds that, the African is not capable of manufacturing quality products. Africans even prefer foreign products to what their fellow Africans produce.

Dr. Sarfo Kantanka is a Ghanaian who owns an automobile factory, but the cars and other products are not been purchased as he expected. Government and other corporate organizations are not helping at all. The African is better in consuming than producing and the few who are producing, are not trusted. The Ghanaian citizen has a higher demand for foreign goods, because they don’t believe that the African can produce quality and competitive products. Africans can overcome this backsliding thought, if it’s citizens will believe in themselves and believe that they can do anything.

As an individual, whatever you are going through, never say that you can’t.

Keep saying to yourself, “I can do it, I can do it”
YES, I CAN.
